Sound Image is proudly involve in the audio video and control system installation and upgrades for Maranatha Chapel. Sound Images's started servicing the Maranatha Chapel AV systems more than eight years ago.

1994 : Phase 1
Maranatha Chapel's Chief Audio Engineer, Scott Fannon made contact with Sound Image in 1994. The request was to design-build a custom left|center|right audio system and subs with very critical audio performance in mind. The first generation Sound Image/Audio Composite Engineering G2 loudspeakers fit the bill perfectly. The existing Maranatha Chapel front-of-house equipment were nicely integrated with the new audio system.

The equipment list included:

Sound Image was contracted to disassemble the audio equipment in the Black Mountain Sanctuary, and to reinstall the system. Substantial upgrade additions were added to the overall system.

Acoustical treatment on the side and rear walls of the sanctuary, made a marked difference to the acoustical environment, and contributed overall to the audio quality. Maranatha started streaming audio of the sermons live to the internet.

Chief Audio Engineer Scott Fannon decided in 2000 to upgrade the Mackie console with a Yamaha M3000 40 channel board. The old Mackie console no longer met the expanding artistic requirements of the congregation. Several of the old stage audio monitors were also upgraded to EAW 122E models.
