Sound Image services a wide range of educational customers. Most of our work is focused on higher education clients; from community colleges to the elite of the public and private, four-year institutions.
Regardless of their size or status, all of our educational clients require elegant, high-quality, easy-to-use AV Systems. Many of them also have pre-established manufacturer relationships and technology standards too, which means that we have to be flexible and creative enough to fit those products into their new systems designs.
Typically, we are asked to provide designs and integration for classrooms, lecture halls, conference rooms, sports venues and performing arts facilities.
The most common challenge we encounter is the need to support both analog and digital video and computer graphics signals. This is not a major technical challenge, but it can present operational and/or budgetary challenges.
As the AV industry moves forward through the analog-to-digital transition, we are often asked to provide interface support for both signal formats. Building a dual signal path, which supports both analog and digital signals, is still a common solution, but this approach sometimes adds unnecessary cost to the project. We can help you make the critical decisions necessary to ensure the right technology is installed.
A great many educational materials are computer-based and/or accessed through a school’s network, then presented via the AV systems we install. These technologies must be all be readily available, reliable, and easy to access and use.
The instructors expect to be able to walk into any classroom, plug in, and go. Typically, a well designed Control System will take care of most of the operational complexities relating to the use of the AV equipment we integrate.
If you are facing these challenges alone, we would like to help. Our best results start with a conversation that outlines the needs, constraints and goals for your new systems.
If you would like to talk with one of our staff about your specific project needs, please see the “Contact Us” link in the top right corner of our webpage and reach out to anyone listed under California or Arizona Contracting. They will connect you with one of our sales engineers, estimators, or system designers.
